Shell Cost for a Site Built unit per Saylor System to compare to the Patent Process
Based upon the Majestic Model -- a 1232 Sq Ft. 3 bd  2ba unit
The Saylor compute program CD allows for complete costing of any floor plan.   This cost sheet is a comparison with the Patent Process shown on the previous page.   The main difference between the two shell costs is that the wood frame requires a 2 x 6 wall to get  even close to the R-40.37 insulation factor of the Patent process, while the Patent process only requires a standard 5-1/4 inch thick wall.   The comparison also indicates a savings of $30,917.31 for the patent process for the Shell.  This does not include the other cost savings in overhead, manufacturing, labor, site savings, and other such benefits.  The amenities such a appliances, furnace, water heater, etc. cost as much or many times more than the Shell cost, paticularly with the Patent process.
